Onze tuin is gelegen rondom het huis dat tussen 1930 en 1935 is gebouwd. Het huis heeft een romantische vorm (een beetje Bergense of Amsterdamse school) en de tuin is daarbij aangepast. De vormen van de paden en borders zijn recht, maar de weelderige beplanting zorgt ervoor dat er een informele en cottageachtige sfeer ontstaan is. Een heg van haagbeuk (Carpinus betulus) omsluit de tuin.
In juni bloeit de Liriodendron tulipifera met zijn lichtgele tulpachtige bloemen en ook een groot deel van de rozen staat in bloei. Onze liefde voor rozen wordt bij een bezoek aan onze tuin meteen duidelijk; er staan meer dan vijfenzeventig soorten in, waaronder veel oude soorten die heerlijk geuren.
